RUBBER BANDS
We are an importer of rubber bands (or 'elastics' or 'rubber bands'). For retail sale, we offer multi-colored rubber bands packed in jars or bags that are suitable for contact with food. For larger consumers of rubber bands (in industry), we offer rubber bands in larger packages, also in several colors.
Rubber bands are suitable for use in:
- food industry,
- pharmaceutical industry,
- electronics industry and
- for general packaging of products into packages/bundles or kits.
Rubber bands can be made of latex - natural rubber (caoutchouc) or synthetic rubber (EPDM), which is more suitable for use in cold environments (below freezing, especially for temperatures below -10°C, up to approximately -40°C).
The size of the elastic is indicated by the length (A) and width (B). Below is a picture showing how to measure the dimensions of the elastic. C represents the thickness. The length is approximately 1.5 times the diameter of the rubber band.
The sizes of rubber bands we offer range from length (A) 50 mm to 250 mm and from width (B) 1.4 mm to 16 mm. Once you determine what your requirements are, we will offer you the closest standard size. It is also possible to manufacture rubber bands of any size for special purposes and larger quantities.
We also offer rubber bands suitable for contact with food: compliance with EU legislation 1935/2004, 10/2011, 2023/2006 – good manufacturing practices, and other relevant requirements, which ensure that rubber bands do not affect the quality of food with which they come into contact.
In addition, latex-free rubber bands are also available for use in the healthcare sector, where hypoallergenic material is required.
For tying plants – flowers, shrubs or trees – we also offer rubber bands with hooks, which enable quick, easy and reliable, firm but flexible and non-invasive tying of stems to support poles or wires. They are made of EPDM rubber and therefore survive external weather conditions – UV rays, temperature changes, low temperatures. Due to their durability, they allow reuse, and at the same time these binding elastics are also recyclable.
